Nestled atop a majestic mountain with sweeping vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, Oia stands as a hidden paradise in the heart of Galicia, Spain. This picturesque enclave is a treasure trove of natural beauty, gastronomic delights, and pristine beaches, all still awaiting discovery by the discerning traveller.

Our creative agency received a compelling request from the local council of Oia: to breathe new life into this charming town's identity. The challenge was to craft a brand that resonated with both residents and visitors, conveying the message that Oia was a place for everyone.

In response, we conceptualized a distinctive brand identity that embodies inclusivity and personalization. The town's name was ingeniously stacked vertically in the logo, while the design itself took on the appearance of a delightful rag doll, inviting anyone to infuse their personal touch into it. This unique approach exemplified Oia's warm and welcoming spirit.

To complete the picture, our team introduced a captivating copywriting strategy, interweaving iconic quotes from renowned cities around the world, expertly adapted to the tranquillity of Oia. These messages underscored the town's promise of escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The unveiling of this new brand was met with resounding enthusiasm from Oia's residents. The local trekking club quickly sold out t-shirts bearing the pilgrim logo, while neighbouring businesses sought to adopt the brand for their own enterprises. Notably, the acclaimed artist Flix commemorated the brand by creating a stunning 2-meter Oia logo at the town's entrance in 2017.
