Our collaborative journey with Blackbook Winery exemplifies the art of bringing a brand to vibrant life. Nestled beneath the iconic train arches of Battersea in London, Blackbook Winery embodies the fusion of tradition and innovation within the British urban winemaking scene.

At the heart of Blackbook's philosophy is a simple yet profound motto: "Tradition with Innovation." They are dedicated to not only producing exceptional wines but also putting British wine production on the global map, offering a high-quality range that stands as a testament to their commitment.

Our creative process yielded a distinctive logo that seamlessly marries the elements defining Blackbook. The brand's name is captured in the intertwining of the letter 'B,' reflecting the essence of a book and the architectural arches of Battersea, where their exquisite wines are crafted.

What sets Blackbook Winery apart is its artful bottle label designs, each a tribute to significant events and figures in London's rich history. Take, for example, the Rosé wine, a homage to the Suffragists. The label features a woman adorned with a flame in her hair, inspired by the iconic Carreras factory facade, a symbol of empowerment that welcomed the first working women during the war. In the case of the Chardonnay bottle, the design celebrates the immigrants who enrich London's diverse culture. Geometric earring shapes pay homage to the Tate Britain's central Gallery floor, a hub of artistic expression. The 2020 Chardonnay edition embodies the city's vibrant performance arts, and the label features a blue-haired figure adorned with a flower from the Royal Opera House, evoking the desire to sing with each sumptuous sip.
